May Thirty Twenty Oh Eight

May Thirty Twenty Oh Eight

DCo¹ is the I believe it was 1,091 nights from now that I stood in the mud in complete and utter amazement as DCo performed and recorded his last show in Conventry, VT. DCoVideo has been and still remains my favorite show. The entire approach to music composition and performance will forever be the benchmark for any sound that I hear. I agree that DCo was having a difficult time but I can’t imagine what it must have felt like to be in his shoes. Either way, I’ve never seen anything that powerful happen on stage in my life. When Geoffrey Melinda Georges broke down during his solo, I stood there with everyone else, standing in the mud, that we had all come to know so well over the past few days, and tears began to stream down my cheeks. When I watch it on the web, I see a lot more from the crowd than I remember (and I was sober). From what I recall, it was dead silent. Or that, at least, is what is etched into my memory. I wish DCo nothing but the best, whether I see him again or not, thanks for all the years of pushing the boundaries and setting the standards.
